No Fooling, Just Finance!

Ah, April—the month where the Easter Bunny isn’t the only one scrambling… businesses are too! 🍫🐰 As the weather cools down, tax time starts heating up, and those “I’ll deal with it later” tasks suddenly need tackling. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back (and your books)! This month’s newsletter is packed with egg-cellent financial insights, cracking deadlines, and team updates that’ll have you hopping into action. Let’s get cracking! 🥚

📚 BLOG: From Quarterly to Monthly: The ATO's not so subtle hint to pay up

The taxman-ian devil (aka the ATO) is cracking down 🔥 — and if you’ve been a bit casual with BAS deadlines, you might be in for a rude awakening. The ATO is moving late lodgers and those with unpaid debts from quarterly to monthly reporting, meaning more admin and less wiggle room. And that interest on ATO payment plans? No longer tax deductible (yep, ouch 😩). It’s all part of their push for better visibility and quicker repayments. The good news? It’s not forever — behave for 12 months (on-time lodgements and payments) and you can ask to go back to quarterly. So if you’ve slipped behind, now’s the time to tighten things up. Need help before the ATO makes the call for you? We’ve got your back — no judgment, just smart solutions. Read the full blog at the link Read the blog now!
